Official notice

The Special Announcement on the official JUPAS homepage states that, due to system enhancement works, the JUPAS online application system will be suspended on 28 October 2026 (9am to 1pm).

Gradepath analysis

The four-hour suspension falls inside the application window — the official calendar states that applications for 2027 admission may be submitted from 9am on 7 October 2026 until 5pm on 2 December 2026, so the morning of 28 October was otherwise a normal submission day, just with the system closed. Second, what is suspended is the online application system itself: logging in, submitting, paying and revising choices are all unavailable, and the announcement mentions only a service suspension with no extension of any deadline, so do not read 2 December, 5pm as shifting because of the works. Third, the window is 9am to 1pm, precisely when most people handle applications in the morning; submitting on or before 27 October, or after 1pm on 28 October, avoids betting on whether the works finish on time. Fourth, JUPAS has not said what the enhancement changes or that new functions will appear, so do not expect the interface or process to differ afterwards — prepare using the current applicant guide.
