JUPAS changes courses again on 29 October: eleven LingnanU intakes, PolyU requirements, two HKBU retitles

On 29 October JUPAS updated fourteen programmes across three institutions: first-year intake for eleven LingnanU programmes, entrance requirements for PolyU JS3000, and the titles of HKBU JS2610 and JS2910.

The JUPAS homepage lists three programme-change entries dated 29 October 2026: LingnanU JS7101, JS7133, JS7204, JS7211, JS7213, JS7215, JS7503, JS7606, JS7709, JS7802 and JS7905 under the field "First Year Intake"; PolyU JS3000 under "Programme Entrance Requirements"; and HKBU JS2610 and JS2910 under "Programme Full Title / Short Name".

This is the third batch of programme changes since applications opened — the previous two were posted on 15 and 23 October. Three batches in three weeks tell you one thing above all: your twenty choices are not frozen on the day you submit, because institutions keep editing programmes after you have ranked them. The three affected fields carry three different risks: intake changes how competitive a programme is; entrance requirements decide whether your application is even considered; and a renamed programme is one you will discuss under the wrong words if you are working from an older list. So the move here is not to reshuffle your choices tonight, but to set up a checkpoint: copy the intake figure, the minimum requirements and the current title of every programme on your list into your own comparison sheet, date it, and re-check the official programme pages at least once a month. Mind the boundary: JUPAS lists only the institution, the programme codes and the names of the changed fields — not the figures before and after.
