Gradepath analysis

Information days are the only occasion before you submit your twenty choices on which you can question a department directly and observe the real campus and its atmosphere — and they cost nothing. But the calendar shows the nine institutions cluster their events between mid-October and late November, with EdUHK and HKUST both on 31 October and HKMU, Shue Yan and Tung Wah all on 14 November; you cannot attend everything, so you must choose. We suggest ranking by your top five programme choices rather than by prestige: if HKUST sits in your top ten, go there on 31 October instead of picking the highest-ranked name. Note too that CityUHK and HKBU on 3 October and PolyU on 10 October have already passed; if you missed them, wait for individual institutions to announce their own events, as there is no catch-up session. In practice, pick three target dates today and prepare two concrete questions for each — say, internship arrangements and second-year streaming rules — because arriving with questions is far more useful than arriving with a camera.
