Official notice
The Hong Kong Children’s Choir’s official enrolment page states: “The Choir does not accept applications by fax or email.” The completed form must be submitted together with a copy of an identity document and a cheque for the application fee by one of these methods: in person during office hours at the West Kowloon Centre, Ho Man Tin Sub-centre or Wong Chuk Hang Sub-centre; in person between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm on Saturdays to staff at the North Point or Tseung Kwan O Sub-centres (not applicable to the Intelligence-Emotion-Creativity programme); or by post to the Ho Man Tin Sub-centre, “Oi Man Estate Community Hall, Chung Hau Street, Ho Man Tin, Kowloon — Hong Kong Children’s Choir Membership Affairs Department” (not applicable to the IEC programme).
Gradepath analysis
The window is only eleven days, but a form is not all you need: a photocopy of an identity document, a cheque for the application fee, and a visit to a centre during office hours. The official page marks “not applicable to the IEC programme” only on the North Point / Tseung Kwan O and postal routes; the in-person office-hours route carries no such note. IEC parents should re-check the current wording on the official page rather than follow last year’s practice. The payee and amount of the cheque are not listed on this page and must be taken from the application form published during the registration period.
