Charterhouse lists 19 October as its final registration date, with a testing window from 23 October to 3 November and an assessment day on 17 November. Dulwich College holds its Hong Kong entrance examination on 25 October.

Registration for 13+ typically closes in the summer or autumn a full year before entry, so families starting now are effectively competing for waiting-list places. The decisive filter is not fees but the all-English interview that follows the UKiset or ISEB pre-test, where non-native speakers lose the most marks. For 2027 entry, this month is the last window; for 2028, school selection and English assessment must be completed within three months or the same wall reappears next year.
