Official notice
College Board lists the remaining 2026–27 sittings: 7 November 2026 (register by 23 October, late by 27 October), 5 December 2026 (20/24 November), 6 March 2027 (19/23 February), 1 May 2027 (16/20 April) and 5 June 2027 (21/25 May). Every cut-off is 11:59 p.m. ET and late registration is available worldwide for an additional fee.
Gradepath analysis
Hong Kong candidates hit three traps. First, treating the registration deadline as a seat guarantee: local centres are small and popular dates sell out early, so book the moment registration opens. Second, the time zone: every cut-off is 11:59 p.m. ET, which is midday the next day in Hong Kong, so assuming you still have today is usually wrong. Third, mismatched purpose: November scores land in late November, too late for early-action deadlines around 1 November. That sitting serves Regular Decision (mostly January) and January-deadline destinations such as Australia and the Netherlands. If scores disappoint, 6 March 2027 is the last chance to refresh a result before RD decisions.
