Official notice
The Hong Kong STEM Education Alliance (organiser) and the Education Bureau of the HKSAR Government (co-organiser) list an event under the Chinese title 「2026『科學與中國』走進『科創大講堂』啟動儀式暨第四屆『未來香江』國際科創教育論壇」, with the theme 「築夢航天 科教育才」. The official event page states: date — Tuesday 17 November 2026; morning session — 10:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. (guests received from 9:30 a.m., please be seated by 9:45 a.m.); venue — Lecture Hall, 4/F, West Block, EDB Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre; audience — principals and teachers of primary and secondary schools. Three scholars are invited to give morning keynotes: Academician Wang Chi (Putonghua), Prof. Michel Blanc (English) and Dr 堯中華 (English). The page also gives a registration link, enquiry numbers 3707 1143 (Ms Chan) / 5268 9822 (WhatsApp), and a draft programme (9:30–9:59 guest registration; 10:00–10:39 national anthem, addresses, launch ceremony and group photo; 10:40–12:15 keynote forum). It publishes no registration deadline, no quota and no fee. The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education updated this item in its Related Information section on 5 November 2026 and links "Keynote" directly to this page.
Gradepath analysis
First, be clear about the audience: the page states "principals and teachers of primary and secondary schools" — not students, not parents. This is therefore not an event a student can simply sign up for. For an applicant, what you can legitimately note down is the organiser and the theme: a teacher-level forum organised by the Hong Kong STEM Education Alliance, co-organised by the EDB, themed 「築夢航天 科教育才」. Recording that signal in a learning portfolio or interview preparation is more useful than chasing a seat. Second, the page marks the language of each keynote: two of the three are in English and one in Putonghua. That is a concrete academic-listening context; building the relevant aerospace and academic-research vocabulary beforehand pays off more than trying to follow it cold. Third, the page publishes only the date, time, venue, audience, speakers, registration link and enquiry numbers. It gives no registration deadline, no quota, no fee, and does not say whether attendance is limited to Alliance members or nominated schools. Do not assume what has not been published; verify with the organiser through the enquiry channels given on the page.
