Future HK forum registration: official notes — no dual registration, no parking

The official thematic-forums page notes that no participant may be registered for both afternoon forums, that no parking is provided, and that a lift is available at Kowloon Tong MTR Exit E; no registration deadline is published.

Official notice

The official event page for the "Thematic Forums" of the 4th forum (Chinese title: 「第四屆『未來香江』國際科創教育論壇」), published by the Hong Kong STEM Education Alliance, lists three items under Notes: (1) a passenger lift connects Kowloon Tong MTR Station Exit E to the podium level of the EDB Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre; (2) the venue cannot provide parking spaces for attendees; (3) no participant may register, or be registered, for both thematic forums held concurrently in the afternoon. The same page states the audience as primary and secondary school principals, teachers or prospective teachers; the time as Tuesday 17 November 2026, 3:00–5:00 p.m. (registration and sign-in from 2:30 p.m.); and gives a separate registration link for the thematic forums. The page publishes no registration deadline, no quota and no fee. The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education updated this item on 5 November 2026 and links "Thematic Forums" directly to this page.

Gradepath analysis

Three pitfalls here, all stated explicitly on the official page rather than inferred. First and easiest to trip over: the two thematic forums run concurrently in the afternoon, and the page uses the wording "may not register, or be registered" — so not only can you not sign up twice yourself, the school or organiser cannot put you into both either. Planning to attend both the life-science and the space-science forums does not work; choose one before registering and make that clear to whoever handles the registration. Second, the stated audience is principals, teachers or prospective teachers — students and parents should not treat this as an event they can simply sign up for. Third, the venue provides no parking; the only transport hint on the page is the passenger lift from Kowloon Tong MTR Exit E to the podium level, so plan travel in advance. Finally, the page gives a registration link but publishes no registration deadline, no quota and no fee. Do not assume "first come, first served" or invent a deadline; verify through the organiser enquiry channels before acting.
